Sadly I can no longer keep up with the mobile service providers’ changes to the infrastructure that this site uses to deliver the messages, and of course since 2013 many alternatives have become available. Therefore as of 1 July, 28and11.com will neither send nor receive SMS messages.

Here are things the site is still good for:

• Posting about events
• Custom contact database with hundreds of active and retired Bn-4 members in it
• Mass emails and print mailing labels
• Printing housewatch contact lists/signup lists
